  • The main job responsibility is to help customers.
  • When not helping customers you’ll be expected to work the sales floor in the store (including but not limited to).
    • Running the cash register.
    • Mixing paint.
    • Helping in the rental department.
    • Stocking shelves.
    • Filling propane.
    • Fixing screens and windows.
    • Cutting keys.
    • Typical hardware store chores.
    • Pick orders for Deliveries

Preferred but not Required

  • Knowledge in small engines – For our small engine shop/rental department.
  • History in ordering parts for small engines.
  • Having worked with and Epicor computer system – This can be taught.


  • You’ll need to be able to lift heavier objects.
    • Equipment is provided to move heavy equipment, but you can’t have a lifting restriction.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Solid attendance record.
  • The ability to think on your feet and make good decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A history of customer service work.
